  3.      The  24K  Zoom/Faxmodem  will connect to  current  14,400  and  slower
  4. modems,  to other 24K modems, and will connect at 24k to future 28K  modems
  5. at 24K. The init string is  the same as other Zoom/modems, AT&F&C1&D2. They
  6. do not yet support the MNP-10 commands.

  8.      NOTE:  They are so new, that we have no use-data yet on how they  will
  9. perform over most phone lines. In most cases where performance isn't  good,
  10. you  can  expect the phone company will be upgrading the  system,  as  more
  11. people and companies use the new 'breed' of modems.
